Mark Sedgwick

The Co-Host of The Shine Podcast and the author of “The SHINE Notebook,” an inspiring journal to empower the youth through the power of print. He is an educational leader who travels across the nation speaking at conferences, schools, and workshops about the importance of personal growth. In addition, he is an Exercise & Health Science Major specialized in teaching and functional movement at the University of Houston - Clear Lake.

Growing up, Mark frequently led by example in taking on many roles in the writing organization that his mother created in 2005, Kids Write to Know. Today, he pursues his MISSION through hosting insightful presentations, beautification projects, and musical creations, such as “LIGHT TO SHINE!”
